My past achievements include working as a Lead Ultrasound Technician for the past three years. During that time, I have developed a strong knowledge and experience in vascular sonography, particularly in regard to venous thrombosis imaging, Doppler studies and Arterial Duplex examinations. My skill set also includes assessing patients before scanning; performing and interpreting ultrasonic scans; generating reports of findings; and maintaining strong communication with patients, colleagues and physicians.
In addition to my experience in the field, I have earned a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from the University of Maryland and am certified by ARDMS as an RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer). I also possess extensive knowledge of relevant software including Windows, UNIX, and PACS systems. I’m organized, efficient and open to learning new techniques.
